Newart are pleased to announce the introduction of Carbide Label Die Cutters to their manufacturing portfolio.

Our skilled engineers have combined the knowledge obtained in the manufacture of our existing range of Label Die Cutters with the finest Carbide material currently available to create a cutter of the highest quality which will substantially outperform conventional steel Dies.

Die Cutters are produced using CNC controlled Wire Erosion Technology and are precision honed to the highest edge tolerances. This process ensures a superior finish and guarantees the accuracy of the cut Label.

• Lightweight – The Cutter body is manufactured from a lightweight Aluminum reducing the cutter weight substantially compared to conventional Die Cutters.

• ‘Ultra’ Longlife -The cutting edge is produced from the Finest Carbide material and then hardened to ensure the most durable cutting edge available in the market.

• Reduced Die Maintenance - Due to the strength and quality of the Carbide Edge, the Die Cutters require less maintenance and re-sharpening. This means uninterrupted cutting performance is now possible for extremely long runs and repeat contracts.

• Minimum Press Downtime - Due to infrequent tool changes.

• Repeatability – The CNC process ensures complete repeatability of the most complex shapes.

• Fixed or adjustable Slitters – According to customer preference.

• Variable cutting angles – To suit customer requirements.

• Press compatibility - Each Die can be mounted onto a lightweight base plate, which can be individually customized to suit any cutting press e.g. Blumer, Busch PMC, Lombardi

• Optional Counter Pressure Plates – For extremely accurate Labels.

• Cost Effective – ‘Ultra’ long life and low re-sharpening frequencies combine to provide an extremely cost effective solution for high volume demand.

• Re- sharpening – A full re-sharpening and refurbishment service is available at both our UK facilities.
